LAKE WEDDING AT  THE APOSTLE ISLANDS
 

Sometimes a mishap can become a blessing. This was the case for Michelle & William. They actually already had a photographer for their wedding, but due to lack of communication and a change in editing style preferences, Michelle & William felt increasingly uneasy about their photographer leading up to the big day. With only 3 weeks left before their wedding, Michelle & William found me on Facebook and inquired if I'd be available, and willing to make the trek up to Madeline Island. My answer was emphatically, yes! 

It had been a long time bucket list item for me to visit the Apostle Islands, but I never had enough gumption to make the long trip - if you've never been to this gorgeous shoreline, do yourself a favor and book a trip for a summer getaway. To say that I was in awe of the natural beauty and clear water, is a gross understatement.

A simple, yet intimate and elegant elopement of their closest family and friends made this wedding all the more beautiful. With Williams baby, aka his boat, close to the shoreline they stole a moment alone popping champagne after sunset out on Lake Superior. Ending the night with dancing and vibing with friends and family.
