Forget the ocean, give me the Great Lakes! I flew out to Grand Rapids, Michigan where I met Savannah & Josh for their beach engagement session in West Olive, about an hour west of Grand Rapids. Loooooved my time with Savannah and Josh SO much! I even met Savannah's family and we had pizza on the beach together while watching the sun set on the lake. If you've never experienced West Olive in Michigan, please do. My drive out to the Grand Haven was so thrilling to my senses - rows upon rows of hydrangea bushes, blueberry farms, the aroma of florals - I was in heaven! There was a moment while taking a whole group photo that I looked over to where our pizza was and I could see a seagull stealing a slice!! Savannah's dad ran to the rescue to scare the seagull away, but unfortunately, he did get a few nibbles. Photos of evidence below.
